PamAlvin Cancun '08

20080626PAM&ALVIN28, originally uploaded by jeriQ.

This is my first wedding shoot. "Oh how ice breaking it was." I know that I still have a long way to go to find my self in this world of photography. Just click on this picture to see the rest on my flickr account.

It's unfortunate when your photos get stuck in your hard drive for a long time. I'm still finding the best work flow for my photos. I'm trying to find the fastest way I could get my pictures as fast as I can here on my blog. Please leave me a comment if you have any suggestions.

Pam & Alvin's "Wedding Entourage" gathering

I am blessed to have the chance of shooting their wedding in Cancun, Mexico this coming June '08. It is my first wedding shoot/destination wedding and I'm very excited. These pictures are some of the expressive moments captured when the wedding party got together to try on their "barongs" and dresses. A lot of kids were also present and I took the opportunity to get the kids to pose for the camera. Surprisingly, the kids were all willing to pose. I am looking forward for the wedding shoot for I know that the wedding party are filled with so much joy and excitement for the couple. I cannot wait to capture the emotions during their special day.

BREAKOUT

I'm thankful enough to have the opportunity to take pictures for some of my friends in this "Artist Perspective" event. Live performances by locals Kristie McCraken & Crew and NoPlan B took place with an impressive display of talent and music. Check NoPlanB at http://www.noplanbmusic.com
This event was promoted by Sammie Jo Productions. Check her out at http://www.samiejo.ca

Airsoft @ Tigerland

Shooting on location seemed to be harder than I expected. I could only imagine what stress reporters go through especially shooting war photogs. (and this is not even at war). I guess it was more on the running part and trying to dodge those pellets that I have to over come. It was very intriguing what reporters do. It is definitely something I would want to try some day.

Basic Photog. Class (Model Pics) ii

My first experience working with models.

Basic Photog. Class (Model Pics)

These pictures where taken last year when I was taking my basic photog. class. The pictures where shot with Fujichrome Velvia 400 and the slides where scanned by my instructor, Lara Hildebrandt. During this session, I realize how important emotions are regarding portraiture.
